Finding a Job online


All the people need a job, well you can find one on internet on pages Yahoo Hot Jobs , Monster.com or Vault . For example I was looking a project planning job (because I like that area) on yahoo hot job and I found very interesting jobs for me, but I choose one… The job that I like was

Position Description:

Plan and execute construction work and direct outside contractors at FPL fossil power stations. Specific activities will be associated with construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems at the plants. Responsible for project execution to achieve project specific success criteria (including schedule, budget and operational outcomes) during installation and startup phases. The Construction Manager will report to the Technical Services Project Manager at FPL’s Juno Beach office.


Position Requirements:

Formal engineering or technical degree is not mandatory, although direct involvement and knowledge of materials, methods and tools in the construction or repair of systems and equipment in a central station power plant environment are essential. Unyielding commitment to a culture of safety. Ability to manage multiple contractors through disciplined organization and efficient erection methods. Knowledge of methods involved in planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources is a must. Knowledge of environmental regulations and limitations.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 5 pm; minimum 40 hours per week. Some Sunday work may be necessary depending on execution plan.

  • Sense of urgency in the face of important issues and opportunities.
  • Ability to make timely decisions and to know which issues need to be bounced “up the ladder”.
  • Ability to identify problems before they are problems, and the drive to solve them.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and report budgets, estimates and construction progress.
  • Significant technical and construction management experience.
  • Detailed understanding of building and safety codes and other regulations.
